Modeling the Impacts of Climate Change on Yields of Various Korean Soybean Sprout Cultivars

چکیده

Soybean sprout is an important food ingredient in East Asian cuisine. growth highly sensitive to temperature and photoperiod. Thus, it determine the optimal base for accurate yield prediction. The can be varied by cultivars. In this study, six soybean cultivars that are commonly grown Korea were planted South Jeolla province, between 2003 2018. Data on phenology collected from field used each cultivar. As a result, variations of temperatures ranged 0 °C 15 °C. simulation, three plant parameter sets, including Soy15, Soy6, Soy0, created. Soy0 represented with °C, 6 respectively. simulation results, values percent bias under 15%, indicating Agricultural Land Management Alternative Numerical Assessment Criteria (ALMANAC) could reasonably simulate yields. Among these cultivars, Soy15 had smallest yield, while Soy6 highest yield. climate change scenarios (SSP245 SSP585), both maximum minimum increased 1–3.3 With increasing future period, grain yields all decreased. reduction might because high shortened length period soybeans. was promising cultivar have scenarios.

Effect of Cultivars and Weeding Regimes on Soybean Yields

To study the performance of soybean (Glycine max L.) cultivars in varying weeding regimes, a field experiment was conducted in 2010. The experiment was split plot in a randomized complete block design with 3 replicates. The four cultivars and two lines of soybean including: Sahar, Hill, Sari, Telar, 032 and 033 in main plot and weeding regime consist of no weeding (control), one weeding (35 day...

the effect of taftan pozzolan on the compressive strength of concrete in the environmental conditions of oman sea (chabahar port)

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...

The impacts of climate change and meteorological factors on pollen season indicators of allergenic plant taxa

Pollen respiratory allergies have been increasing in prevalence over the last two decades, partly as the result of the impact of climate change. For many allergenic trees, grass and weed species, increased pollen production and prolonged pollination period result in long-term increased abundance of pollen allergens in the atmosphere; earlier shifts of airborne pollen grains and prolonged exposu...

An explanation to such findin...
